Friends!
Tuesday the 26th at 9 am we have to opportunity to box up books from Persnickety's. They have graciously donated their left over stock of books to the book sale.
Please come help out!

The next meeting will be Sunday September 7th at 2 pm.
Notes from last meeting:
At the last meeting on August 7th, we discussed when the book sale will be. It was decided that it would start Saturday October 18th for friends then Sunday the 19 through Wednesday the 22nd
Amanda Moran-Jones talked about how the Summer Library Program was a success and thanked the Friends for their contribution to that. She also asked for monetary help towards ZooBoo as well as toward her program, Baby and Me. The Friends motioned and seconded agreeing to help.
Remember, time is coming up to renew your memberships! Come on by the library to renew in time for the book sale!

Hello! I am Erin Ferguson and I will be taking over for Cara as new Friends' Library liaison. I am excited to be part of the Great Bend community and look forwards to working with you all! Come to the next meeting on August 7 at 6:30 to meet me.

March 2014 Meeting Cancelled
Well...another storm is heading to Kansas! The Friends' meeting scheduled for March 2nd has been cancelled. Please join us for the Sunday, April 6th meeting at 2pm in the library's lower level meeting room. This will be our Annual Meeting with election of officers...and we need officers! We will also be finalizing National Library Week plans for the week of April 13th.
